These woman are from Jesus Power Church. Uganda. Many of them are single parents with NO source of income. The conditions these women live in are unimaginable. The dignity and pride they have is amazing. Making jewelry and selling it helps them to provide for their children. The purchase of 1 necklace $7.00 would pay for half a month of school for a child. Or enough food for the family for a week. Most live on LESS than $2.00 per day.

Orphan from the Christian Mission Academy. Muhamed is 8 years old and, calls this home. He is an orphan he stays with a family that can not afford to take care of him. He goes to school hungry most days. Many days the school cannot afford to feed him either. The small barn like room is where the entire family lives and sleeps. Mohamad has 2 siblings Shafiq and Kaddu. All of the members of the family work in gardens to eat. Mohamad is not really cared for by the family he is just allowed to stay with them. They all live in this very small barn like structure. The room on the left is where they cook. Frank is in desperate need of food clothing medicine, bedding.
